What is "aging in place"?

"Aging in Place" refers to living in your own home regardless of age, income or ability level.  Sometimes this entails using products and services to enable an individual to remain independent, comfortable, and safe.  Most people want to age in place, as they enjoy the comfort of familiar community, family and environment.  There are many adaptive products and professional services these days that can make aging in place more attainable than ever before.
